Jaja, ich weiß, ich bin zu faul um zu übersetzen oder zum zusammenfassen, aber lieber Originaltexte auf Englisch als gar nichts, oder? ^^'

Smash Bros. Revolution Masahiro Sakurai recently spoke to Famitsu magazine to talk about how the game is progressing.

Nintendo recently had advertised vacancies for jobs on the Smash Bros. development team. Many had worried that if Nintendo are still looking for people to work on the project, would the game be ready in time for the Revolution launch?

Sakurai has said that development on the title only began recently. IN fact, until not long ago, the games staff consisted of only one person; Sakurai.
Since that time, Nintendo has asked out a certain un-named studio for help on the title. "Shigeru Miyamoto introduced me to a 'particular company' that had just finished development of a major game,", Sakurai said. It apperently did not take much persuasion to get them to sign up.

The studio's identity currently remains a secret. Sakurai has said that the anolouge sticks on the Gamecube's controllers had faded away like an eraser from thousands of games of games of Smash Bros. Melee on the Gamecube that the company had played, so at least they have experience with the game.

It appears that a new office has been created just for this game. Sakurai lives in Tokyo, and Nintendo asked him to for an office in Tokyo to house the entire team. The new office opened in October, which may explain why the title has taken so long to get going. Sakurai wants a large development team working on the project. "To make a Smash Bros. DX class game, you'd want at the least something on the scale of 50 people." This is where those newly hired staff come in.

HAL Laboratories have given the new team full access to the development tools and materials from the development of Smash Bros. Melee. Sakurai says he isn't suprised at the decision to make a new studio for one game, saying that it indicates that we should expect a lot from the title.
